As Jamhuri Classic starts it’s 6th year, we have to discuss the importance of membership. We have been very fortunate to continue the tradition of playing monthly tournaments for our members and guests for 60 straight months.
Let’s be realistic, tournaments cost money to organize. There is an expense with trophies, gifts and marketing. We are greatful to our sponsors for covering the majority of the cost of each event. However, our membership dues is what keeps Jamhuri Classic rolling.
Starting this month with Jamhuri Championship, the following policies will take effect:
* Only members in good standing with USGA handicap participate in low net trophy presentation
* Only members in good standing participate in low gross trophy presentation
* You don’t have to be a member to play the tournament
* All players get course rate
* Non members pay an extra $5 cash at the course payable to Jamhuri Classic
* Guests are welcomed at the additional $5
* Membership is $45/year (it’s only $3.75/month)
